Team USA had a day off yesterday and Carmelo Anthony decided to do some tourism in the city of Rio. But instead of any luxurious area, he chose to visit the slum neighborhoods of the favelas.
“I watched ‘City of God’ almost 100 times, and it’s very, very accurate,” he said to USA Today. “It was one of them.”
