Australia is finalizing an agreement with Sixers coach Brett Brown to coach the national selection, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
Brown will coach Australia in the 2020 Olympics, making his comeback to the bench since the 2012 Olympics where he once again had head coach duties and the team reached the quarterfinals.
Provided that Ben Simmons joins the national selection next summer, coach Brown will have a familiar face on the squad. Australia has already qualified to Tokyo with no need to take part in the Pre-Olympic Tournaments and is already planning ahead to make its presence in 2020 count.
