Marcus Slaughter was the heir of Kyle Hines in Bamberg, has similar skills to the center of Olympiacos and on Sunday night he will try to get his place as “king of the Europe”. Few minutes after the big win of Real against Barcelona in the semifinal, the American center talked on Eurohoops about his battles with Hines and the challenge of winning the trophy.

“I respect him so much. It ‘ll be the first time I’ll face him this season and I’m waiting for that moment” said Slaughter about the center of Olympiacos.

Will the comeback of the final quarter help Real to play with more confidence against the champions? “We are a tough team and never give up. We tried hard during the whole game, but the final will be a new game”.

Olympiacos played excellent defense in the first semifinal vs CSKA, but Real plays a tottaly different, uptempo game. Will that give an advantage to Madridistas? “We are young and we like to run up and down. I hope we’ll have success” says Marcus Slaughter.
