Acie Law was one for the key players of Olympiacos great performance against CSKA, he admitted that he didn’t expected his team to dominate the game like this and hopes this kind of performance will be repeated in the final

During all the two weeks, since Olympiacos qualification to the final four until the semifinal against CSKA, the coaching stuff of Reds was repeating again and again one name: “Teodosic”! The Greeks succeed to get the Serbian guard out of his game and the first one who made this job excellent was Acie Law.

And he so proud not only about himself, but about the team work. As he said: “Teodosic is considered as the best point guard in the Europe, but we had all together a great plan and that’s why we did great job. We stayed together for forty minutes and won the game pretty easy”.

– Did you expect for a game like this?

“No, I didn’t expect that. I thought the game would be a lot tougher. The coach said before the game it it will be jugded the last 2-3 minutes and we didn’t expect to defend and dominate like that but hopefully we did it. We wll get some rest and be ready for the game on Sunday”.

– Do you think that the last season’s “nightmare” for CSKA came back too early?

“I wouldn’t say that, but I really don’t know. You have to ask them. This is a completely different team. I feel that last season’s team was one of the best team in Europe all time. They are missing some really good players from last year, so it’s a different situation. I don’t know if that effected them but it didn’t effect us. We had our game plan, we played it forty minutes until the last ball”.

– Which will be the keys of the team’s preparation for the final?

“We will get some rest and hopefully we’ll be ready on Sunday to celebrate again the trophy”.

– If you had to compare this season’s win and last season’s over CSKA, which was more excited for you?

“I think obviously last year’s game cause it was a championship game. We were underdogs and I didn’t expect to have such a game. This time, we expected CSKA to be better team and I’m sure people would have the impression that they would dominate the game. So, both of them were sweat victories over CSKA because in that point of the season means a lot. You feel good, to come out on the top”.

– So do you feel that the title of the underdog suits you and makes you play with very little pressure?

“I wouldn’t say that it matters if you are considered as a favorite or an underdog. At the end of the day, it counts only how you perform and that’s the way we ‘ll try to do it on Sunday”.
