Mike Bramos was the man of the match in the win of Panathinaikos over Fenerbahce/ Ulker. The Greek-American forward with 7/8 three pointers and 23 points had a career night and stole the show on the court the day that Zeljko Obradovic returnεδ to Athens.

As he said to Eurohoops: “Most importantly we won. It was a huge game. They had the same record as us and it was one of those nights. You don’t have it every night. I felt good. Seemed like everything was going to go in. So I am happy it happened tonight”.

Bramos had scored also twice in the past seven three pointers in a Euroleague game and he is the first player to do it in three different games of the competition. However, that record was not on his mind during the game: “No, when you playing you don’t think about that. You just look at the score and try to win the game. So, it’s funny that history repeats itself”.

As for Obradovic, Bramos came to the team after Zoc’s exit, but some things are evident: “Obviously what he accomplished here… he is a legend. I think the fans proved that, they love him and he showed his love for them, so it was a great night for him”.

Still it was no extra motivation for him and his teammates to have a great game against the legendary Serbian coach: “No, we as players looked at it as Panathinaikos versus Fenerbahce and that’s all we were thinking”.
