“It would be nice to play in Euroleague, but my dream is to play in the NBA”, said Luke Nelson to Eurohoops, just moments after his winning shot. “I work hard all year to be ready for those kind of moments. We didn’t win the game on that shot. My teammates gave me the opportunity to make that shot by playing great defense the whole game, so we got the chance to win it at the end. It was a close game and I just got the chance to make the last shot”.
Nelson plays for California Irvine in the USA. That’s why his role models come from the NBA: “I really like Steph Curry and when I was younger I was following closely Steve Nash”.
