The Euroleague rising star award winner Bogdan Bogdanovic has emerged last summer aa one of the leaders of the Serbian national team in FIBA World Cup and now on the same court, he wants to win the Euroleague with Fenerbahce/ Ulker.
“We have balance. We are the most unexperienced team in the Final Four, we have players with no experience but the most experienced coach. We are here to win the semifinal and fight for the trophy. Real plays at home, it’s a more experienced team, so they have all the presurre. We will try to play with passion and energy”.
Bogdanovic has obvious passion, he demonstrated it with the national team specially in the celebrations after the tournament in Belgrade and now he dreams of experiencing the same with Fenerbahce.
“The Turkish mentality is very alike to that of the Serbs. We have many similarities. It’s a different feeling when you play with a club, than wearing the banner of your country. In any case we want to win the Euroleague and I have no doubt of what to expect if this happens. It will be crazy”.
Milos Teodosic stated earlier that if the Serbian national team adds a naturalized player, then he will not play any more. What ‘s the take of Bogdanovic on the matter.
“Of course I agree with Milos. We speak about our national team. We have tradition, a great basketball history, we are coming from a big success. We have a lot of talent and great younger generations are coming. Why we need a naturalized player in our national team? It’s a matter of pride, but also a matter of essense”.
