NBA prospect and projected lottery pick Deni Avdija had a career night in the 94 – 83 win of Maccabi Tel Aviv over Hapoel Holon. The 19-year-old Israeli point forward posted career-highs 22 points and five assists while also grabbing four rebounds in 31 minutes.
Avdija had a solid shooting output as well, finishing with 5/8 2-pointers and 4/7 3-pointers. Thanks to his performance, the injury-plagued Maccabi extended its spotless Israeli Winner League record to 14-0.
