Zalgiris made a crucial run in the third quarter and primarily thanks to a strong defensive effort, logged an 80-60 win over Rytas Vilnius in the Lithuanian Cup Final.
Edgaras Ulanovas and Zach LeDay scored 13 each for the winning side while Jock Landale added 11 and Lukas Lekavicius ten points. For Rytas, Paco Cruz scored 14 in addition to Eimantas Bendzius’ 13 points.
The third-place game belonged to Lietkabelis who won bronze for the third time by beating Neptunas 84-73.
Tomas Dimsa led the way with 20 points while Margiris Normantas and Zeljko Sakic added 14 each. For Neptunas, Deividas Gailius banked 24 and Osvaldas Olisevicius 15 points.
