Serbian Basketball Federation announced that it has donated approximately 30,000 euros (3,600,000 Serbian Dinars) for the purchase of necessary equipment used to fight the coronavirus outbreak.
The money has been secured from the budget which is used by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to fund the Basketball Federation and diverted toward the Republic Health Insurance Fund.
Out of the 5,756 coronavirus tests in Serbia, there have been 1,476 confirmed cases including 42 recoveries and 39 deaths.
