The Chinese Basketball Association announced that the 2019-20 CBA season will resume on June 20. The remaining games will be held in Qingdao and Dongguan.
Travel restrictions have not been lifted yet, so foreign players returning to China will likely remain an issue. The Chinese League is expected to tweak its regulations regarding imported players.
Restarting the 2019-20 campaign paused on February 1 due to the coronavirus pandemic marks the first Chinese major league ruling in favor of getting back in action.
The 20 participating teams have 16 games left prior to the playoffs.
