Olympiacos announced that a staff member of its second team tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday. Per the team’s announcement, preparations and workouts for the next season have stopped until further notice and all team players and staff members will undergo testing.
Earlier in August, Kostas Papanikolaou was the first coronavirus case of the first team, as he tested positive despite being asymptomatic and remained in isolation while being monitored by the team’s medical staff.
