The LKL match featuring Zalgiris Kaunas visiting Nevezis-OPTIBET originally scheduled for Sunday was postponed, the Lithuanian league announced Friday citing Joffrey Lauvergne’s recent positive coronavirus test as the reason behind the decision.
Lauvergne, 29, did not travel with his teammates to Russia for the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 2 game versus Khimki Moscow Region. He instead remained in isolation.
Contrary to the EuroLeague game expected to take place Friday evening, the upcoming LKL contest was postponed. The makeup date will be announced shortly, the press release additionally notes.
