Zalgiris returned to its LKL duties with an easy victory against Juventus at home on Sunday.
Lietkabelis – Siauliai 101 – 76
Lietkabelis dominated Siauliai to improve to 4-2 while keeping its opponents winless. Paulinas Valniskas (22 points, nine rebounds) and Margiris Normantas (15 points, six assists) were the top contributors for the winners.
Elvar Mar Fridriksson dropped 20 points for Siauliai.
Neptunas Klaipeda – Rytas Vilnius 60 – 98
Not only did Rytas Vilnius kept its opponents’ output low but also fired 15 triples to get an easy win on the road. Mindaugas Girdžiūnas dropped 16 points and send five assists to his teammates while Drew Goudelock, Christopher Mccullough and Arnas Butkveicisu scored 13 apiece.
Only Tadas Pazera scored in double figures for the hosts, finishing with 14 points.
Nevezis – CBET 92-88
Nevezis broke its two-game losing streak with a victory over CBET, paced by a 20-point performance by Justas Tamulis. Panagiotis Kalaitzaikis followed with 18 points, as Sedrick Barefield and Vaidas Kariniauskas had 14 points each.
CBet’s Marquis Wright led the team with 19 points, while Mindaugas Susinskas finished the game with 18 points.
Zalgiris Kaunas – Juventus 84-63
Thomas Walkup, Martynas Geben and Marek Blazevic all scored 13 points in Zalgiris’ easy victory at home, as Marius Grigonis completed the list of double digits scorers with 11 points.
Bryant Crawford had a game-high 18-point performance for Juventus and Mindaugas Kupsas added 14 points for Juventus.
Dzukija – Pieno Zvaigzdes 76-84
Well-experienced Branko Mirkovic with 18 points made the top-scorer performance in the away win. Karolis Giedraitis added 16 points, Tomas Lekunas 15, and Daniel Amigo 14.
The hosts were led by Tadas Rinkunas and his game-high 21 points.
