Zalgiris Kaunas had everything under control against Lietkabelis on their way to a 76-69 win and their fourth King Mindaugas Cup trophy.
Thomas Walkup led the way with 18 points and eight assists while Nigel Hayes scored 14 and Joffrey Lauvergne 11 points.
Lauvergne was named the tournament MVP with an average stat line of 19.5 points, seven rebounds and 22 PIR.

For Lietkabelis, Kyle Vinales scored 17 in addition to Gytis Masiulis’ 11 and Gabrielius Maldunas’ ten points.
Zalgiris didn’t leave anything to chance. They were up 19-6 early on and led by 17 points (58-41) at the end of the third quarter. Lietkabelis showed some comeback effort led by Vinales in the third quarter but they couldn’t get closer than a six-point margin and for a short while at that.
Earlier, Juventus Utena dominated Neptunas 86-69 to win the third-place clash. Mindaugas Kupsas scored 19 and Vaidas Kariniauskas 15 points for the victors while Dziugas Slavinskas had 17 on the other side.
