Casey Prather stepped up to the occasion and led Hapoel Eilat to a 91-85 win against Maccabi Tel Aviv, putting their streak of seven wins in the Israeli League to a halt.
Nebo banked in 23 points while Josh Nebo and Joe Ragland helped with 15 points each. Nebo grabbed 11 rebounds as well while Ragland dished out 13 assists.
On the other side, Ante Zizic and Tyler Dorsey scored 20 each in addition to Oz Blayzer’s 11 points. Zizic also logged 11 boards.
Maccabi managed to recover from being down as much as 18 points in the second quarter (47-29) and cut the gap to just two points (82-80), however, the Eilat squad answered with seven points straight to decided the outcome.
Hapoel improved to 11-5 while Maccabi stayed at 13-3 and still at the top of the standings.
