Zalgiris claimed yet another LKL win, tenth in a row, 70-68, versus Lietkabelis on Wednesday.
Thomas Walkup hit the game-winning three-pointer with 19 seconds remaining to shape an 11-point, 11-assist double-double. Nigel Hayes and Joffrey Lauvergne shared a team-high 12 points. Young point guard Rokas Jokubaitis logged 11 points. On the opposite end, Margiris Normantas had a game-high 19 points.
Zalgiris has already clinched first seed ahead of the playoffs. Rytas, secured in second place, beat Neptunas, 97-76, on Tuesday. Martynas Echodas punched in a 22-point, 17-rebound double-double.
Juventus at 22-13 jumped to third place as Lietkabelis was forced down to 21-13.
