Mega Soccerbet bounced back following Wednesday’s loss in the Finals of the Serbian league with the 86-79 victory against Crvena Zvezda mts on Friday. The best-of-three series is tied 1-1.
Marko Simonovic, selected by the Chicago Bulls in the 2020 NBA draft, rocked Game 2 with a 19-point, 20-rebound double-double. Another promising youngster, Filip Petrusev fired 16 points, including a clutch triple with 1:03 left.
The visitors dug their way out of an early 17-point deficit and nearly came back again after starting the fourth quarter down seven points. Ognjen Dobric scoring a game-high 31 points did not do the trick.
The winner of Game 3 will be crowned Serbian champion.
