Ovie Soko is close to a deal with the Shiga Lakestars, as reported by our own Chema de Lucas.
The British forward has spent his entire pro career in Europe but is on his way to Japan for the next step. He has displayed his talents in Spain, Italy, Greece, and France, apart from one season with the London Lions in Britain’s BBL.
Soko, 30, recently wrapped up his 2020-21 campaign attached to Le Mans. He averaged 16.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per appearance in the Jeep Elite Pro A.
