Although Zalgiris has been struggling in EuroLeague early on, still searching for the first win this season, when it comes to the domestic competition, things are the opposite. The Lithuanian powerhouse got a convincing 102-77 home win over Nevezis and improved to a perfect 7-0 record.
Tyler Cavanaugh led the way with 19 points followed by Karolis Lukosiunas with 16 as they banked in four three-pointers each. Marak Blazevic added 14 points, nine rebounds while Mantas Kalnietis dished out 12 assists in addition to his 11 points.
For Nevezis, Rihards Kusiks scored 16 and Marius Valinskas 14 points. Valinskas also delivered seven assists. The losing side now holds a 1-4 record.
