Maccabi Tel Aviv followed up its EuroLeague win over Panathinaikos with a 104-80 home win in the Israeli League against Hapoel Jerusalem.
Scottie Wilbekin was pushing the squad with 18 points on 5-7 from deep while Jalen Reynolds added 15 and Roman Sorkin 14 points. Oz Blayzer scored 14 as well with James Nunnally contributing 12 points.
For Hapoel, Retin Obasohan banked in game-high 21 points while Kaiser Gates scored 12.
The 15-0 run at the start of the second quarter was crucial for the outcome as Maccabi went up 37-16 and never looked back. After three rounds in the Israeli League, both Maccabi and Hapoel now have a 2-1 record.
