Cyprus’ Limassol BC forward Corey Manigault has been hospitalized with brain hemorrhage and hematoma following injuries he sustained during a violent altercation that took place early Sunday (23/11) morning outside a Nicosia nightclub.
In an announcement, Limassol mentions that Manigault, 23, is currently out of danger but remains on a respirator and is still in serious condition. Manigault’s girlfriend and his teammate Brandon Averette were also injured in the incident. They suffered cuts and abrasions on various parts of their body and are out of danger.
According to reports by Cypriot media citing police information, the victims said that they were attacked by unknown assailants. The incident is currently under investigation by local authorities.
