Joe Ragland scored a new career-high with 40 points to propel Hapoel Holon to a 93-78 victory over Hapoel Jerusalem in Game 1 of their Winner League semifinal series.
Ragland, 32, shot 8-of-10 from the three-point range, to go along with 9 assists, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals for a PIR of 49 to help his team grab an emphatic victory on the road.
Adding up to Ragland’s efforts, Tyrus McGee posted 18 points, Hayden Dalton followed with 13 and Michale Kyser added 10 points.
Suleiman Braimoh led the Jerusalem side with 20 points and six rebounds, KC Rivers had 16 points and six rebounds and Jalen Adams tapped 13 points.
Game 2 of their semifinal series is underway Monday, May 30 (21:00 local time) in Holon.
