Partizan Belgrade was fined 5,100 euros for refusing to play in the Serbian League playoffs and an additional 10,200 euros for “damaging the league’s reputation.” Apart from the club fines, Partizan coach Zeljko Obradovic was banned from coaching his next four games in the Serbian League.

Following the end of the ABA League Finals against Crvena Zvezda, Partizan took an unprecedented decision and announced that the club will be withdrawing from the Serbian League playoffs in protest of several acts of hooliganism that took place in the series by fans of both teams. Red Star won the Finals 3-2.

Partizan could be facing even relegation to the third division but ultimately the club will just pay fines.
