Zalgiris Kaunas beat Neptunas at Klaipeda 79-71 starting the LKL season with a road win.
It was all about the newcomers with Keenan Evans scoring 12 points, Ignas Brazdeikis had 13, and Kevarrius Hayes with 14 being the top scorer of the winners.
Also, Tyler Cavanaugh added 11 points. For the losing side, big man Rokas Gustys who played in the NCAA with Hofstra was the top scorer with 14 points, but the hosts after trailing by 11 at halftime (45-34) couldn’t get back into sticking distance.
