Zalgiris Kaunas is living a great beginning of the season. 2-3 record in the EuroLeague, but an incredible home win against Barcelona, and unbeaten in the LKL.
On Sunday, another important step in the first weeks of this new group: with the 109-76 victory against Juventus in the domestic league, Zalgiris produced one scoring performance that was missed for three years.
Kevarrius Hayes, who had 14 points and 8 rebounds, and Ignas Bradzeikis, who ended the game with 16 points and 5 rebounds, were the best ones for the winning side.
The green-and-white team hasn’t scored this amount of points in the LKL Regular Season since April 2019 and it’s off to seven consecutive wins in the Lithuanian league.
