After starting the season in Turkey with Petkim Spor, where he averaged 8.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in the BSL, Tai Webster comes back to the NBL to sign with the Perth Wildcats.
The 27-year-old guard, who spent the 2021-22 EuroLeague season with Zalgiris Kaunas to replace Emmanuel Mudiay, has already played there with the Auckland Pirates, the Waikato Pistons, and the New Zealand Breakers.
He will join forces with his 34-year-old brother Corey. “It feels great, coming back to a league that I pay close attention to, and I enjoy watching. It’s good to be coming back and to be close to family. Obviously, a big drawing card was to play with Corey again, but I’m no stranger to the success of the Perth Wildcats. I want to win another NBL title and there would be no better place to do it than at Perth”, he said.
