After coaching Hapoel Holon for a few months in the 2021-22 season, Maurizio Buscaglia will begin soon a new adventure in the Winner League.
The 53-year-old head coach started the season in Italy with Napoli, which recently acquired Joe Young, but he was sacked at the beginning of 2023 to be replaced by Cesare Pancotto.
Maurizio Buscaglia, who was named Best Coach of the LBA and of the EuroCup in 2015 with Trento, also guided the Netherlands at EuroBasket 2022.
Hapoel Eliat is currently second-to-last in the Winner League, ahead only of Hapoel Gilboa-Galil. Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv are fighting for the top of the standings.
