For the fourth time in a row, sixth overall, Zalgiris Kaunas won the Kind Mindaugas Cup, thanks to an 81-77 win against CBet Jonava.
Jonava gave an excellent fight to the big favorites, but behind 22 points from Edgaras Ulanovas, Zalgiris prevailed and won their sixth national Cup.
Arnas Butkevicius followed the experienced Lithuanian national team player with 17 points and seven rebounds, while Lucas Lekavicius and Rolands Smits added 10 points each.
Edvinas Seskus, with 17 points, led Jonava, who briefly even grabbed a lead late in the third quarter but couldn’t keep it.
The US players Glynn Watson with 15 and Jeff Garett with 13 and seven rebounds followed him, while Dovis Bickauskis added 11 points.
Lietkabelis won the 3rd place
7bet-Lietkabelis took third in King Mindaugas Cup after a 91-88 win against Rytas Vilnius.
It was a true team victory for the Panevezys team, with Gediminas Orelik leading the scoring charts with 14 points and five rebounds and assists.
Jamel Morris followed him with 13, while Kristian Kullamae, Vytenis Lipkevicius, and Nikola Popovic added 11 points each, and Mantas Rubstavicius ten points.
For the losing side, Marcus Foster dominated with 35 points, but only Gytis Radyevicius followed him with 12 points and nine rebounds.
