Maccabi Tel Aviv was defeated by Hapoel Galil Elyon (83-94) at the Menora Mivtachim Arena for Round 25 in the Israeli league.

The news came from Alex Poythress return to action since his December injury, just in time for the EuroLeague playoffs. He scored 13 points and Maccabi hopes that he will be able to provide solid help in the series against Monaco.

On the contrary, Bonzie Coulson rolled his right ankle, however he was able to finish the game on the court.

Maccabi rested Lorenzo Brown and Wade Baldwin, as the team remains on top of the standings with a 20-4 record, followed by Hapoel Tel Aviv (19-4), while Galil Elyon climbed to 13-12 (5th place).

Maccabi Tel Aviv has one more game to play (@ Nes Ziona on 4/20) before the EuroLeague playoffs.
