China has emerged since the Stephon Marbury era (2010-18) as an alternative and ideal destination for several notable players. There are plenty of examples. Noah Vonleh, Yogi Ferrell, and Marcus Foster joined them.
For Noah Vonleh of 362 NBA games, the selection is quite familiar, since not only has he been a CBAer again, he has returned to the Shanghai Sharks (2021-22). The 28-year-old American power forward was a target of Panathinaikos before signing Olek Balcerowski. He will be joined by Yogi Ferrell of 259 games in the NBA. The former player of Panathinaikos (2021) and Cedevita then (2021-23) will be in China for the first time.
Close by is also former “green” Marcus Foster (2020-21) and former player of Prometheus (2022) and Ritas Vilnius until recently (2022-23), who signed for Sandnong Hi-Speed Kirin.
