By Eurohoops Team/ info@eurohoops.net

Early Saturday morning, a missile attack originating from the Gaza Strip struck Israel. The Palestinian group Hamas orchestrated an unprecedented assault, and consequently, the Ministry of Culture and Sports has declared the suspension of all sporting events until further notice.

The postponement of the game planned for tonight between Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan and Hapoel Beer Sheva has been announced, and with the directive from the Ministry of Sports, the holding of the remaining games in the opening cycle of the season has also been dropped, according to Walla Sport.

Foreign players in football and basketball are leaving the country, with Hapoel Beer Sheva working diligently to evacuate foreign basketball players and their families, among others.

As of now, there are no indications of how this situation may affect Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, who are set to travel to Milan for a EuroLeague match on Thursday, October 12th.
