A new challenge for Alex Antetokounmpo, the youngest brother of Giannis, Thanasis and Kostas.

The 22-year-old forward signed a contract for the remainder of the 2023-24 season with M Basket-Delamode, the team announced on Wednesday.

Running it back with the Wisconsin Herd for a second season in a row, Antetokounmpo tallied 5.9 points per game with 33.7% from the field over 34 appearances in the 2023-24 edition of the G League. He added 3.5 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.3 blocks per contest. He was waived by the affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.

Before landing in Wisconsin, alongside his brothers Giannis and Thanasis of the Bucks, he spent the 2021-22 campaign with the Raptors 905. Overall, he made his way to 103 appearances in the G League over the last three seasons.

In previous professional experience, Antetokounmpo recorded a two-minute showing in the 2020-21 Regular Season of Spain’s Liga Endesa with UCAM Murcia. Early development was focused on the reserve club of the Universitarios in Liga EBA, the fourth-tier division of Spain.

Returning to Europe by moving his talents to the team based in Mazeikiai, he is set to compete in Betsafe LKL, meeting his new side at 7-10 and sitting sixth in the standings of Lithuania’s top-flight division.

“Alex is a versatile player, able to play in multiple positions,” noted team director Arunas Liskus, “I hope he will be successful and contribute to improved results for the team.”
