Getting past Alex Antetokounmpo’s BC Mazeikiai in the Quarter-Finals, Zalgiris Kaunas began the LKL Semi-Finals with an important victory over Lietkabelis, enjoying the 21-point gap (93-72) at home.

Keenan Evans led Andrea Trinchieri’s team in scoring with 15 points over 5/9 from the field, while Laurynas Birutis and the newcomer Demetre Rivers added 12 points each in their team’s victory.

On the EuroCup team’s side, Gediminas Orelik left the Zalgirio Arena – where last year around this time the EuroLeague Final Four was taking place – with a 22-point losing effort. Djordje Gagic followed him with 16 points and 7 rebounds.
