Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv’s big man Roman Sorkin was named 2023/24 MVP of the Israeli League, as well as best domestic player.
He averaged 16.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and a PIR of 19.0, and was included in the ideal five alongside Tomer Ginat (Hapoel Tel Aviv), Levi Randolph (Hapoel Jerusalem), Amin Stevens (Ironi Kiryat Ata), and Roi Huber (Hapoel Galil).
Sharon Avrahami, coach of Ironi Kiryat Ata, was named Coach of the Season after leading his team to the State Cup semi-finals and nearly to the final series, ultimately losing to Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Maccabi Tel Aviv’s Tamir Blatt, James Batemon of Ironi Kiryat Ata, Adam Ariel from Maccabi Ramat Gan, Hapoel Holon’s Justin Smith, and Jaylen Hoard from Hapoel Tel Aviv are all part of the second-best team.
