Lithuanian tech hub Tesonet, a shareholder in Zalgiris, was claimed to have acquired the British champions, London Lions.
However, reports of the acquisition are yet to be confirmed.
According to multiple British media reports, the Lions have entered administration and are now in the hands of insolvency firm Hudson Weir.
The club is still up for sale, with prospective buyers given a deadline of Friday noon BST to submit their bids.
“We are now seeking a serious buyer to take the London Lions on the next part of its journey…,” said administrator Hasib Howlander, who will oversee the sale with Nimish Patel, per the BBC.
It seems that the future of London Lions is still undecided, despite the previous announcement of the club’s acquisition by Tesonet.
