Fuenlabrada, set to play the 2024/25 season in the Spanish second-tier league, Primera FEB, made a significant signing by adding former Barcelona point guard Leo Westermann.

After 10 consecutive years in the EuroLeague, Westermann played for the Spanish club Obradoiro in the 2022/23 season and spent the previous one in Germany with the Crailsheim Merlins.

In the BBL, the 32-year-old Frenchman averaged 10.3 points, 3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists.

Westermann started his career with ASVEL and then donned the jerseys of Partizan, Limoges, Zalgiris, CSKA Moscow, Fenerbahce, Barcelona, and Monaco in the EuroLeague.

He won the ACB League with Barcelona, the Turkish Cup with Fenerbahce, two Lithuanian titles with Zalgiris, and the ABA League championship in 2013 with Partizan, among other accolades.

Representing France, Westermann won the bronze medal at the 2015 EuroBasket.
