After two seasons in Russia, Thomas Heurtel is moving to China.
The experienced French point guard joins the Shenzhen Leopards after two successful seasons with Zenit St. Petersburg in Russia, as confirmed by Octagone Europe.
A EuroLeague veteran with 11 seasons in the top continental competition, Heurtel will play for the team that finished 7th in the CBA last season and was eliminated in the quarterfinals.
Before moving to Russia, Heurtel played over 250 EuroLeague games with Baskonia, Anadolu Efes, Barcelona, and Real Madrid, averaging 9.6 points and 5.3 assists.
The 35-year-old point guard averaged 13.8 points and 8.3 assists in the VTB League last season, donning the Zenit jersey in 27 games.
