Zalgiris rules out Brady Manek for three weeks, defeats Nevezis

Before a domestic game against Nevezis-Optibet, Zalgiris announced an ankle injury for Brady Manek forcing the 26-year-old American forward to the sidelines for the next three weeks. Manek was hurt during practice, as noted.

Following up with better news, a win, 89-76, in Kedainiu Arena improved the W-L tally in Lithuania’s Betsafe LKL Regular Season to 3-0.

Former California standout Tyrone Wallace paved the way with 23 points behind 8/11 field goals, including three triples. He added three rebounds and two assists in just under 20 minutes. Elsewhere in the top-tier division of Lithuania, former Zalgiris player Lukas Uleckas netted two deciding free throws in a 95-93 overtime win for Siauliai – Casino Admiral against M Basket-Delamode in Telsiu Krepsinio Arena.

Also, Neptunas defeated CBet, 90-87, in Svyturio Arena. Nate Johnson scored a game-high 26 points.
