A dominant display for Zalgiris for an eighth win in ten games of the 2024-25 edition of Lithuania’s Betsafe LKL

Bouncing back from a home loss to Baskonia, Zalgiris blew out CBet, 73-48, in Zalgirio Arena on Sunday.

Improving to 8-2 in the Betsafe LKL Regular Season, the team guided by Andrea Trinchieri rejoined Rytas on top of the standings of the Lithuanian League.

Sylvain Francisco poured in 11 of his 13 points after the break, cementing a big lead, and dished out ten assists. The 27-year-old French import needed only 17:52 for the double-double.

Among three more double-digit scorers, Lonnie Walker IV threw in ten points and five rebounds in just under 15 minutes. Laurynas Birutis logged game-highs of 16 points and eight rebounds.

Brady Manek finished with 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds, despite a brief exit due to a minor injury. Captain Edgaras Ulanovas and Alen Smailagic as well, dealt with injuries during the one-sided affair.

All 12 available players made at least one bucket, including Deividas Sirvydis knocking in three triples in a nine-point effort alongside four assists and three rebounds.

Besides Tomas Dimsa (shoulder surgery) sidelined, Bryant Dunston and Matt Mitchell were rested before the next two-game week of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season.
