Žalgiris Kaunas suffered a heavy loss to Maccabi Tel Aviv in Round 18 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

Žalgiris broke the season record for points in a game, crushing their opponent with 21/27 shooting from beyond the arc.
Lukas Lekavičius had 23 points, Sylvain Francisco scored 19 with nine rebounds, while Laurynas Birutis added 18. Lonnie Walker followed with 16 points, Matt Mitchell contributed 12, and Brady Manek had 10 points.
For the losing side, Dominic Green had 18 points, while Šarūnas Beniušis scored 10.
Žalgiris stayed at the top of the LKL standings with an 11-2 record, while Rytas sits second at 10-3. Juventus fell to 6-7 and is currently sixth.
