Zalgiris Kaunas remains the team to beat in the LKL league as it was proven in the game against their main rival Lietuvos Rytas. Zalgiris got the 79-74 win with Lukas Lekavicius being the top scorer (16 p.) and making crucial shots down the stretch.
Greek center Ian Vougioukas also had a great with 15 points in 16 minutes for the winning side. Deividas Gailius was the top scorer of Lietuvos Rytas with 19 points.
After this result Zalgiris Kaunas remains on the top of the league standings with a 31-3 record, followed by Lietuvos Rytas at 26-8.
