Drew Goudelock scored 18 points and Joe Alexander 15 as Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated Maccabi Ashdod 91 – 85 in “Menora Mivtachim” arena.
DJ Seeley added 12 and Gal Mekel 11 for the “Yellows”, while Chase Simon dropped 23 and Jake Cohen 20 for Maccabi Ashdod.
The hosts won more easily than what the final score shows since they held a double-digit lead for the majority of the match after a 24 – 15 entrance in the first quarter.
Coach Bagatskis’ players were ahead 70 – 57 ahead of the final period which was too much of a deficit for Ashdod to cover.
