Hapoel Jerusalem grabbed a rather easy win over Maccabi in Tel Aviv with 63-74.
As expected, Amar’e Stoudemire put on a show for the visiting team and finished the game with 24 points in 25 minutes, with 10/12 shots made!
For Maccabi, Guy Pnini scored 17 points, Andrew Goudelock had 13 and D.J. Seeley added 8 more.
The visitors took control of the game in the first quarter, leading 10-17, yet Maccabi stayed close and was only 3 points behind at halftime, 29-32.
Things took off in the third quarter for Hapoel, when the team established double digit leads and kept Maccabi at a distance. With Stoudemire’s help, the second half was dreamy for the winning team.
