Sarunas Jasikevicius’ team struggled against Juventus on the road, yet survived with a 71-73 win. The visitors improved their Lithuanian league record to 24-3 and still remain on top of the standings.
Lukas Lekavicius contributed a lot to this win for the Kaunas side, finishing with 15 points. Edgaras Ulanovas (12p.) and Leo Westermann (10p.) also scored in double digits.
Zalgiris was on to a rough start, as the hosts rallied 22-14 at 10′, then Lekavicius took charge and reduced the deficit to 6 points at halftime, 40-34, scoring 8 points in the second quarter alone. The visitors found their first 2-point lead in the game with Westermann (45-47), but were challenged enough until the end of the game.
