Bnei Herzliya managed to beat Maccabi at home 94-88, with Jeff Adrien pacing the winners with 27 points, while Taurean Green added 20 more.
For Maccabi, Victor Rudd was the leading scorer with 23 points.
The opening of the game was slow on both sides with the score at 2-2 after the first 3 minutes. The Yellows woke up with Alexander, McLeod and Raad and took a 11-19 lead in the middle of the quarter. Maccabi managed to stay up 20-22 after 10 minutes. By the end of the first half, the hosts had a 9-point lead, which was later expanded with a 11-0 run.
Herzliya managed to keep double digit leads for the most part, before Maccabi started trimming the gap. Still, the Yellow and Blues couldn’t outlast the battle.
