Sarunas Jasikevicius’ Zalgiris beat Lietuvos rytas in Kaunas with 90-60 and clinged its 32th victory of the season (an overall 32-3 record).
Lukas Lekavicius was the leading scorer for the winners, with 19 points and 7 rebounds, Paulius Jankunas finished with 12 points, while Brock Motum and Isaiah Hartenstein scored 10 points each.
The hosts put on an astonishing performance in the second period and managed to get ahead with 20 points at halftime, 43-23, allowing little to no chance to the visitors to attempt a comeback. Soon, Zalgiris made it a double score game early in the third period, sealing the result.
