Quincy Miller had struggled big time throughout the season with various injuries holding him back. Tonight he didn’t only showed some pretty strong signs of leaving those days back for good, but emerged as a leader for his team.
With the American forward dropping a 19 points season-high plus 8 rebounds in 23 minutes, Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated Bnei Herzliya 89 – 63 to make the 2-0 in the Israeli League quarterfinals.
DJ Seeley added 17 points and Victor Rudd 13 for the “Yellows” that dominated 31 – 14 in the first quarter and never looked back afterwards.
Brandon Triche (16 points) and Jeff Adrien (14 points) were the best Bnei Hrzliya had to offer.
