Zalgiris easily defeated 51-80 Siauliai on the road on Day 11 of the LKL Lithuanian League and improved its record to 10-1 while Siauliai slipped to 2-9.
Since early on in the game, the visitors showed their intentions as they finished the first quarter allowing only six (!) points to their opponents and scoring 22. From this point and the second quarter, Zalgiris even increased its lead to 24 points.
In the second half, the visitors sustained their lead and enjoyed a great afternoon, both offensively and defensively against Siauliai. Zalgiris is now tied with Liektabelis for the top spot in the LKL League.
Paulius Valinskas and Gytis Masiulis finished the game with 16 points.
