LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball have signed with Lithuanian side Vytautas for the remainder of the season, the club officially announced.
The two Ball brothers should join their team and begin their first professional campaign, in early January.
Vytautas is currently seeded seventh among ten teams in the Lithuanian first-division LKL League. They also play in the Baltic League (fourth among seven teams of Group A with a 4/1 record) together with clubs from Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, and Belarus. It is based in Prienai a city with an estimated population of 10.000.
LaMelo, 16, and LiAngelo, 19, were shopped to various overseas clubs following their father’s decision to pull the latter out of UCLA. LaMelo’s chances to join the university were evaporated after signing with agent Harrison Gaines who offered them to teams from Europe and Asia.
